Job Description:

Position: Cashier (65100)

Position Available: 1

Terms of Employment: Full Time and Permanent (Overtime, weekends if required)

Wage: $15.50 per hour, for 40 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: NE Calgary, AB

Job Duties:

• Operate cash register.
• Process money and credit/debit card payments.
• Scan items.
• Tabulate total payment for goods or services required.
• Receive payment for goods or services.
• Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
• Suggestive selling.
• Stock shelves and clean counter area.
• Greet customers.
• Wrap or place merchandise in bags.
• Provide customer service.
• Verify the age of customers when selling alcohol products.

Job Requirements:

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Work Experience: Experience is an asset (Will Train)

Language: English

Benefits: Medical Insurance for first 3 months covered by employer, if required.

Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, Repetitive tasks
