Job Description:

Supervise staff.
Order, sell and authorize return of merchandise.
Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
Resolve issues that may arise including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
Organize and maintain inventory.
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers.
Manage cash.
Monitor sales trends, customer behavior, pricing strategies and product performance across categories;
identify slow-moving or high-potential SKUs to inform inventory decisions.
Conduct market and competitor research to uncover new product opportunities and improve current
offerings.
Track and analyze KP!s using dashboards (e.g., Excel, Power BI); prepare weekly and monthly reports on
sales, category performance, engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
Develop and optimize marketing campaigns through A/B testing, SEO strategies, and seasonal
promotions. (e.g., African Heritage Month, Back-to-School)
Collaborate with the digital marketing team to create and update content for social media, product pages,
banners, blog posts and email campaigns.
Build relationships with local influencers, artists, chefs, and community organizations to enhance brand
visibility and cultural relevance.
Align content with store values and heritage, incorporating customer testimonials, behind-the-scenes
features, and culturally significant narratives.
Manage client communication across multiple channels including phone, email, WhatsApp. Instagram,
and Facebook.
Represent the brand at local trade shows and public events to support promotional and PR efforts.
